Good morning respected seniors and colleagues, I am very disturbed by seeing the transfer list dated 05.09.2026 where again my name appears. Within 50 days of joining I am transferred. This is the fourth time in one year my name is appearing in the transfer list. I understand that MP IAS Officer Association is much beyond just wishing birthdays, congratulating etc.
I would like to register my resentment here hoping that I will get some solution. I completely understand that being an IAS officer I can be asked to perform my duties wherever the state government wants, and I have always respectfully accepted the orders.
But this time I feel very demotivated. I am transferred because the subordinates whose establishment is not with me but with the department organised a mutiny against me, they are thumping on my desk threatening to get me transferred. I reported the insubordination, hoarding of files by the subordinates and mistreatment meted out to me in the department through proper channel hopping necessary action will be taken. Rather I am transferred?
What message will pass down? Is an IAS officer so vulnerable that even his subordinates can get him or her transferred by organising a mutiny. What did I do that within a month subordinates organise a mutiny? Leave me, I don't think any IAS officer can do anything of the level that subordinates organise a mutiny within a month of joining of the officer. An officer hardly gets to understand the work in a month. But I have been humiliated by this transfer on the behest of the mutiny of subordinates.
How am I supposed to work? My tenures are short 2-3 months, by the time I understand the charge I get removed. Even my subordinates feel I am an easy target if I do not work according to them they can get me transferred. I have kept silence and patience for long numbers of years being sidelined and not given work, hoping things will improve but the situation has worsened now subordinates have started threatening me.
Always conspirators win and I fail. The system has failed me. Today it's me, tomorrow another IAS officer will be the target.
